Fuji GF Lens service

Has anyone got recommendations for best place to get a GF 32-64 serviced, and also a new lens hood?

Managed to drop my 32-64. Works fine although I broke something in the zoom assembly internally so it'll stick and occasionally give me AF errors. I replaced the lens but need to get the original now serviced. Any recommendations on best course of action?

It sounds like you have been trying to do that, but with little success until now. Congrats?:ROTFL::chug:

I guess my first instinct would be to contact Fuji. While it is not a warranty repair, it is probably still in warranty and that might help turn around.

Well, it wasn’t a planned Amex within 90 day drop, nor to be fair a warranty drop. I’ll pay to get it fixed, unless the cost is outrageous. I did stump up and buy a replacement and really really appreciated the current price drop.

I love the 32-64mm. Great versatile lens.

Btw, despite admittedly two dumps from a foot or so, the image quality has still been consistent. The only problem has been zoom locking occasionally and AF occasionally barfing and asking to turn camera off/on again.

As said, I replaced it. However, the original needs to be fixed and might end up on a future GFX50R or GFX 100S ... quality of the optics even after some robust life has continued to be superb.
