Fuji GFX 50S Not working with Minolta MD 85mm F2 Lens

I just received this lens and the Fotodiox adaptor and It will not actuate and take the picture. I set up the lens in the menu and selected MF+AF ON and set the menu to 35mm lens
Still no good Any suggestions Thanks Dennis
