    Son I wonder if I can use the teleconverter on the 300 4.5

    Damn I just bought the 300 4.5 would have maybe went for the 300 2.8

    Guy,
    You cannot use the teleconverter on your Apo 4.5/300 AF since you will lose the AF and auto stop down functions. I also owned your version for awhile and the color is very nice.

    Thanks Son , BTW how big is the 300 2.8 more like a canon 200 1.8 or 180 F2 apo. Maybe bigger
