    FS: Sinarback 43 HR + SinarCam 2 + 120mm Makro-Symmar HM + Sinar X

I've been using the Sinarback 43 HR for some time now, and I've realized that it will perform at its best in a studio, for product photography. The SinarCam 2 is an amazing tool, and Sinar's Live View is fantastic.

The back is in excellent condition, and the sensor surface is absolutely spotless. There are no visible marks on the body as well. The revolving adapter plate is for Sinar cameras,. Plates for your specific camera are available easily for ~400 USD from the many Sinar dealers.

The SinarCam 2 is the latest USB version, and will work with all Sinarbacks, including the latest models. It can also be used as a stand-alone camera, with Nikon and Hasselblad lenses on appropriate adapter plates.

All the necessary cables are included, as is the Reference Files CD I purchased from Sinar. CaptureShop can be downloaded from Sinar frree of charge.

I am hoping it will be of some use to a studio based photographer, who can fully utilize the 4- and 16-shot modes that produce large, detailed files. The smaller sensor size and pixel pitch of 12 microns is actually an advantage for small product photography, particularly jewelry, where depth of field concerns mean that small apertures must be used.

    Included in this sale are:

    1. Sinarback 43HR (Firewire) with 1-, 4- and 16-shot capability. 36x24mm, 4000x2672 pixels
1- and 4-shot images are 64MB, and 16-shot images are 256MB. The addition of a MacroScan can result in file sizes of 192MB. Currently the back has the Sinar Revolving Adapter, allowing it to be used on Sinar or Horseman cameras. Adapters for other cameras including Hasselblad V and H, Mamiya 645, RB67, RZ67, Contax 645, Fuji GX680 and Bronica are available at dealers for around $400 to 500.

    2. SinarCam 2, which acts as an electronic shutter. With appropriate lensboards, Nikon and Hasselblad lenses can also be used with the SinarCam 2 and Sinarback, turning it into a more portable camera.

These two items are priced at a total of 375,000 JPY (~4,500 USD) including tracked, insured shipping via JapanPost EMS and Paypal fees.

If someone would like a complete studio kit, I also have:

    3. 120mm f/5.6 Schneider Makro-Symmar HM lens, in immaculate condition. One of the sharpest lenses ever made for close-up and macro photography, this lens is an ideal match for the Sinarback 43 HR for product photography. The lens is in immaculate condition. The rear cap is missing, but the lens will be adequately protected for shipping. The Copal 0 shutter is the latest all-black version, and is in excellent condition.
72,000 JPY (~872 USD) including EMS shipping.

    4. Sinar X camera with standard bellows. The camera is used , but is functionally perfect. The front standard has a replacement brass rail installed by a Sinar repair person in the US. A couple of the bubble levels need replacement. 72,000 JPY (~872 USD) including EMS shipping.

The bundle price for all four items is 495,000 JPY (~6,000 USD) including EMS shipping. I will throw in some DB and DBM mount lensboards for 35mm, 135mm, 150mm and 240mm lenses.

Photos are available, send me a PM.

    Thanks for looking,
    Kumar

The Sinar Cam 2 and the DB mount lensboards are no longer available. The Sinarback 43 HR, compete with sync cable and Sinar Revolving Adapter is now priced at 252,000 JPY (~3051 USD), inclusive of worldwide EMS shipping and Paypal fees. FYI, a back in similar condition was sold on eBay for $4,495 in November 2010 (item no. 330495808090).

The Sinar X rear standard is no longer available. Any offers on the Sinarback 43 HR and Makro-Symmar?
