The lens is less than two months old (purchased new for Christmas 2010). I am selling only for cash flow reasons due to new start-up business costs.
Yes, I mounted and shot with it, but only a few times and it has not been outdoors yet. It is flawless in every way (cosmetic, mechanical, optical) and in absolutely new condition. Its images render light like no other lens, in any format. I am told that this lens takes over a year to manufacturer due to special exotic glass.
