Sold: Leica Summicron-M DR 50mm F/2 Leitz Dual Range

I am going to regret selling this:

For sale is the Leica Summicron-M DR 50/2 Dual Range lens, with screw on vented hood, cap for the hood, front and rear cap, but without goggle.

The lens is in excellent condition. It has just been back from a CLA, so it is in as good condition as it can get. The CLA drastically improves its contrast by removing the haze. The glass is pristine, with no scratches on the glass or on coating. See pictures. I think it is getting difficult to get this lens in good coating these days.

I had in my hand another copy of this lens sold by a RFF member, supposedly in "good condition with no scratches or haze" but turns out that lens has heavy scratches on coating as well as haze, and that's when I noticed the huge drop in contrast caused by haze and front element coating loss. Long story short, I returned that lens to the seller, the seller never refunded me or replied my email, I had to file a paypal dispute to get my money back, glad I used paypal purchase instead of personal, no matter how trustworthy you think the seller is. /rant

Back to the description: The focus is smooth. Aperture is snappy, open and close smoothly. There is some sign of wear on the blade, but doesn't seem to affect the performance. Some internal dust as usual and some wear on the body, but again doesn't affect performance.

Some recent copies with heavy scratches on front element coating and haze are selling for around $600:

Given the condition of my lens and the recent CLA, I think a asking price of $700+shipping cost to US is pretty reasonable. I will pay for paypal fee. The first "I will take it at asking price" followed by prompt payment, get the lens.

Thanks for looking, for more picture of the lens, please see my album at:
