This lens is perfect in all respects. The glass is flawless. Includes all original boxes, packaging, paper, manuals, hood, front/rear caps, as if purchased new. Also included are a Leica UVa filter and 39mm Lee adaptor ring. Blank warranty card. Purchased in 3/2011.

I'll split PayPal fees, but ins./shipping extra. CONUS

$2950

Okay, new price $2750 shipped. I do suggest that anyone buying Leica lenses look at Dale Photo or Photo Village, etc. for new lenses, that in some cases are thousands less than what's for sale as "used" on certain forums. Of course I'd like to sell my 35mm cron and my M9, but I'd rather not continue the trend to already absurd prices! Sure, supply and demand are gauges for the market, and should be expected, but this will set a template for future Leica prices!

Yes, my lens is used, but you wouldn't know that it wasn't new!

Hi Helen,

This is a fantastic lens! It's not too bad as a portrait lens. I've attached a photo using the 35mm in an ad campaign It's equally good at landscapes and reportage. There's no distortion either!

Okay, keeping the 35mm "cron", for now. Will list on Ebay soon. It's curious that people will pay so much for other lenses, but the 35mm ASPH f/2.0 "cron" is one of the absolute best they made, priced below retail in absolutely new condition with a blank warranty card. It even came with a 3 day return policy so one could shoot with it and decide for themselves.

I think $2700 is reasonable price. especially compared with those listed on Ebay.

Bump for someone offering a great lens for such a great price!

I'd buy it myself, but I should be getting a call from my dealer about my 35 Lux any day now... Even though "any day now" have been going on for 4 months!

Johnny, thanks for not adding to the crazy mark-ups. If that keeps going on, Leica WILL be raising their prices and will just end up hurting everyone... By the way, may I suggest you post pictures of the lens? Nothing like Leica Lens Porn to drive people into buying.

Thanks, Johnny... I still suggest you post some Leica porn. :) Most are men here, and we are visual creatures. hehehe...

Bump!

A great deal.. Just keep it here and it will sell.. I'm surprised it's still here.
Ebay will charge big fees.

Thanks Bpalme,

Welcome to the forum. I'm trying to keep prices reasonable, the 3 day demo no longer applies though, but the lens has a blank 3 year warranty.

I saw a 7 element 35 cron sold for over $2800 on ebay yesterday. Thats crazy. I have the 35 cron asph too and it is sharp with modern look. This lens for sale have box and everything and warranty!!

I would buy it if I don't have one already. BTW, I paypaled you on the 1.4 mag.
