Glass is excellent, no marks, scratches, fungus or dust inside. Blades are oil-free. Includes a spanking new B+W F-PRO UV0 filter.

The barrel has a small rub mark as does the hood. See pictures.

Original Zeiss box, blank warranty card, Zeiss front and rear caps included.

I am the original owner and purchased from Adorama- S/N 15660358.

This is my last Nikon lens as I have moved up to a medium format system.

This lens on the Nikon D3 / D700 sensor is simply outstanding. Everything you would expect from a Zeiss lens. Examples are posted here:

PAYPAL ONLY. WHEN PAYMENT CLEARS LENS WILL BE SHIPPED PRIORITY. CONUS ONLY. ALL SALES FINAL. 100% here at getdpi and e-bay.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A MANUAL FOCUS LENS WITH MECHANICAL APERTURE AND WORKS ON ALL F MOUNT NIKONS.
Lovely for video with the Panasonic GH1 and GH2 using an adapter. This lens can be adapted to Canon EOS as well very straight forward. You know that whole old school manual/mechanical thing plus EOS being more adaptable to cousins. A good adapter runs around $200. So lens and adapter and you are still are a lot less than new for the Canon ZE version (excepting no electronic control of aperture...that whole old school affair).

For Nikon users of course a $200 savings over a new ZF and much more over a new ZF 2.0 (excepting no electronic control of aperture...that whole old school affair). :-)

    Hi--
I'm interested, but new to the ZF lenses. Can you tell me the difference between the ZF and ZF.2 models? Thanks.

The ZF is not chipped and fully mechanical when stopping down. The ZF 2.0 allows for
electronic controll of the aperture and the camera recognizing the lens. You will need to
set the lens up as manual lens in the camera menu just like you do with any Nikon manual lens. Thereafter the camera will recognize the apertures for metering & recording data when you shoot. You will be able to shoot aperture priority with no issues.

Here's the link to Lloyd Chambers mini-review.
