I'm listing these two lenses for an old friend of 25 years who's got too much Leica gear. One's a 2.8/135mm Elmarit-M, with eyes, and all original packaging. The other's a 50mm Dual Range Summicron, also with eyes, and leather cases. I've seen them both--they're beauties. These are U.S. only sales. It's be easier for anyone interested to contact him directly: Larry Marcus, [email protected], 612-339-0258. He's also selling an M3 and M4 body, listed in a separate thread. Here are his descriptions:

Leica M-Mount Leitz Elmarit 135mm f:2.8 lens with "eyes" and built in lens hood. Serial #2621923, comes with front & back caps, original box, registration card and mailing envelope. Excellent condition, all glass is clear with no marks, haze or fungus. Aperture, focus, click stops all in excellent working order. A few small use marks on some corners and other high points. This lens balances very nicely with the camera body and feels good in your hands. $525 (includes PayPal) plus $15 shipping.

Leitz Wetzlar Summicron 50mm f:2 Dual Range Leica M-Mount lens with close focus eyes, original metal front lens cap, original plastic rear lens cap and fitted brown leather cases with purple linings. Serial #749786 (lens & barrel are a matched set with the same serial number). This lens has just been CLA'd by Youxin Ye. Glass is in wonderful shape--no marks, haze or fungus. Some use marks on the barrel edges and on the metal of the close up eyes. One of the sharpest lens Leica made. $985 (ncludes PayPal) plus $15.00 shipping.

Eyes are permanent. But unlike the tiny frame lines (or four small corner dots) in M viewfinders, the eyes provide a magnified, full frame view.
