Well i am not happy about listing this because i really like it a lot. But business needs calls for a Mamiya 28mm instead which I will trade for plus cash. I really need to sell this as a package and first let me say the Schnieder 47mm XL lens is outstanding and also with the biggest image circle so for you shifters there is nothing better that gives this kind of range. As you see in the images parts include. I also will include the Fotoman Rf focusing aid. Price is 5900.00 plus 100 ship and insured UPS 3 day select

TC body
Mamiya /Phase mount
Finger grip
Hots shoe with spirit level
Zeiss 25/28 finder that we use on the M8 works pretty good and small
Wake up cable for Phase backs
Front standard or back standard cover plate
Alpa Schnieder 47mm XL lens. This has the biggest image circle of all the Alpa lenses , makes it ideal for stitching
All boxes and such bought maybe 3 months ago.
RRS camera plate also

This is completely ready to go just add a Phase back and your off and shooting. This is a very small package and great for travel

Re: FS: Alpa 12 TC

At this point I have been asked to sell it in parts. i would rather not do that at this time and price will not drop folks. It's this or I keep it. The value is well above 6800.00

BTW this is all brand new gear about 3 months old tops.

Also if you need a Phase One back for this, I can have that all arranged for you through Lance and Capture Integration.

Re: FS: Alpa 12 TC

I just shot these with my lights I bought from David Kipper . There Elinchrom 600 watt mono's . I only have one softbox at the moment the rest is on it's way but i used 2 grid spots a small softbox and my Metz 54 flash for the red background. So not to bad for not having exactly all the right accessories for this. Was in a little hurry to do this too

Beautiful product shots Guy and boy are these rare to see available used. Glad the lighting seems to be working out.

Love them so far . Lightboxes from Elinchrom are a pain to setup. i know there is a secret to this. How to keep everything on and just release the rings

Guy, just to let you know there's a pretty good price for the 28mm on Ebay right now from a reputable seller.

Man this is a nice setup, I'll let my friends know if they would be interested in the purchase!

Re: FS: Alpa 12 TC

I would agree with you guys except that I know Guy's shooting style... To be as gentle as possible, he's not a particularly, ahem, "patient" photographer. (Understatement! :ROTFL:) Anyway, I am convinced the absolute best choice Guy can make for his style of shooting is to get the 28mm Mamiya...

Cheers,

Re: FS: Alpa 12 TC

Jack that was pretty mello. LOL

I'm a wide angle freak and I almost never crop ,so it has to be there. It's just easier for me to work this way.

Well I've been unknowingly pissing off a bunch of people with comments I've been making, so I am now treading very lightily with my remaining (few) friends.

Re: FS: Alpa 12 TC

what did the alpa offer except wider angle lenses? a bit more compact, to be sure, but none of the efficiency of the mamiya. i think guy is on the right track if he is looking for wide

Re: FS: Alpa 12 TC

Exactly I need the one system to be the same and my only really complete system is the Mamiya glass. I also have corrections built into C1 for a 28mm.
