note: I am away for the long weekend, and back on Tuesday Aug 7 in the PM, but on email.

I have an extensive collection of cherry-picked Fuji GX680 gear for sale. Included in this list is almost everything made for the system. I am a huge fan of the system, and spent years learning and testing every piece I could could obtain, in order to be a GX680 consultant and trainer. I bought multiple systems to run courses on the camera, since it is such a unique system, that provides incredible quality and versatility for the price. While shooters go nuts whenever Hartblei or Schneider release a tilt/shift lens for Mamiya, EVERY lens in the Fuji GX680 lineup is tilt/shift AND macro. All have impressive performance, and low vignetting. It is amazing with film, having choice of formats with same back (model III only) of 645, 6x6, 6x7, and 6x8, which is a size that efficiently matches single page magazine and popular print and portfolio sizes. 6x8 is almost twice the quality of 645. On the digital end, the Kapture Group solutions work great, including a stitching adapter that creates around a 48x68 cm virtual sensor. Use a P45, and get 70mb stitched files (2 exposures) that will match or exceed a P65+ or IQ180 in final resolution. See this full res example of a P45 stitched file using the 65mm lens (the second widest angle lens in the lineup, equiv to about a 28mm lens in full frame small format). http://bit.ly/FujiGX680_65mm_stitch

Download a PDF of the most up-to-date list of what is available here: http://bit.ly/Fuji_GX680_gear

I could not renew the lease on my studio, and decided to hold off on the planned Fuji GX680 workshops until I get a new space, which is hopefully soon... thus scaling back on inventory to just have one of each item remaining, one of each of the 5 models of camera they made, and one duplicate of the most popular lenses and accessories. Everything else needs to be sold. the more you buy, the better the deal. Need the cash for the new studio.

I am located in Toronto, but will be in the U.S. east coat (Philadelphia, NYC, and Jersey shore areas) between August 17-28th, 2012, so if you want me to send out of the USA for USA buyers, I would need to have full PayPal payment by Aug 15th.

I will beat any package price of all items from one source, excluding shipping. I ship worldwide.

If you are not sure what items suit your photography needs, I am available for consulting. i have tested every lens extensively with my P45 back.

Feel free to post any questions publicly, unless it is price negotiations, contact info, etc. Otherwise, if it is something others would benefit, I will publicly post anyway as an FAQ.

Here is one that just came in:

which lens/bellows combination get the highest magnification for macro shooting?
leo

Answer:

Any lens can do macro. The shorter the focal length, the higher magnification for the same amount of bellows extension. For maximum magnification, while also allowing lens tilts, shifts, and swings, the 4 fold bag bellows is best. The 80mm extension rail gives you the most reach. It is harder to obtain than the 40mm rail. However, with the 40mm, many users will just leave it on, while the 80mm makes the camera quote long, and may get in the way when shooting close. the 40mm is a good 'all-around investment for closer distances, and you just mount it and forget about it. the 80mm is good for those that want maximum magnification. I have both the 40mm and 80mm available, and the 2 fold bag bellows (useful for extreme movements with shorter lenses) and the 4 fold (good for longer lenses and close-ups, however problematic with 65mm and 50mm lenses and movements at infinity.

So, theoretically, most magnification would be with the 50mm lens and 80mm rail combo, but working distance would be small. The 80mm, 100mm , and 135mm are most popular for doing macro. Any of the lenses 80mm and over will provide the best results in macro. If you want super thin DOF and amazing bokeh, than I would go for the 125mm f3.2. If you want deep DOF, go for the 80mm or 135mm f5.6. The 100mm is a middle ground.

Hope you buy something from me!

If you would like more information about macro, formulas, specific performance, and a complete solution figured out for you, I am available for consulting...very reasonably. $50 per half hour, pre-paid via PayPal. Includes access to lens tests. Can save you hundreds in the right / wrong decisions.

Re: updated info for Huge Fuji GX680 sale

Some prices and packages have been updated. Always download the PDF for the latest info. Take a 2% discount for the whole order for every additional item you buy at the same time. Mailing from U.S. northeast at cost via USPS possible if you pay by 5pm EST Aug 16. Link to some new hi-res pics of some of the gear, by customer request, here: Mir Lada Photography Proofing Site | equipment for sale

Remember, there will always be someone with higher prices, and someone with lower. I did my research, and believe that these are fair. You are buying from someone who knows the gear inside out, and can advise and support you. There is value to that. I match any advertised, fixed package price for same condition or better.

Fuji GX680 body only (no WLF, film back, or caps) w/Nicad battery (can modify to create cheap AA adapter). very good condition $250

Fuji GX680 I w/waist level finder, 120 film magazine, spare 120 insert, standard bellows, 135mm f5.6 lens, Fuji NiCad battery pack, spare battery pack, and Fuji NiCad charger (complete kit), Battery need to be re-celled, or use AA battery pack or AC adapter. Excellent condition. $600

Fuji GX680 II w/waist level finder, standard bellows, rare 6AA battery pack. Excellent condition. $625

Fuji GX680 II w/waist level finder, 120 film magazine, TWO 120 film inserts , standard bellows, Fujinon 135mm f5.6 lens, rare 6AA battery pack $825

Fuji GX680 III w/waist level finder, Film holder III, 2x film cassette III, standard bellows. I bought this camera new from the local Fuji dealer in 1998 for $4371. for just the body. Disclosure: The WLF got knocked several years in, which caused a plastic tab on one of the finder slots to break. This can cause the finder to fall off if camera is turned upside-down, in a certain way. There are solutions. Does not effect operation. Camera body is otherwise in very good condition. Minor rub marks on base-plate and inside lens mount. Looks very nice. $950

(note: if you want a cheaper camera, the I and II take the same photos, and have almost all the same features. Very minor differences.

Hi, I have not used the 115mm. It is rarely available. I just bought one, but it has not been delivered. I find both the 125mm and 150mm excellent lenses. The 125mm has similar performance to he 180mm f3.2, which is that below f5.6, there is some coma or "soft focus effect" (sharp, but "glowing") while the 150mm is crisp from wide open onward. I have both available for sale, excellent copies. What lenses do you have?

Have you ever been able to use the fuji 115mm 3.2? If so do you know how it compares to the 125mm 3.2 or 150mm 4.5? Thanks.

With this age of lenses, it is normal for there to be several small specks of dust between the glass. That do not effect image quality. It is rare to find a GX680 lens with zero particles of dust inside. Surfaces and coatings are pristine. No mold or fungus anywhere. Note, all bodies have same digital back compatibility.
