I don't think I need to waffle on how nice this lens is

It's not a mint/collector item (very slight brassing on focussing & aperture ring and a bit of the usual dust), but still is a very nice one to have. Pls excuse the external dust on lens barrel.

Price: $3999 AUD, Australian sale and bank deposit preferred, but international sale would also be considered.

Trades: I would consider any of the following:

* Canon 5D Mk3
* Canon EF 35mm F1.4 L
* Maybe a very nice M2

Is this an ASPH or pre-ASPH?

It's a pre-aspherical E46 with 0.7m minimum focus distance.

probably the nicest 50 lux! (if you don't like the strong sharpness of the modern asph version)

Yes, the solid brass construction makes this lens a joy to use.

Would love to keep it but I have decided to cut down and focus on other areas. The brass M6/35mm titanium kit is gone, so this is next.
