Thought about the 2400/3880 but the larger paper size and dramatically lower ink costs (per ml) have me decided on the 3800.
One of the bigger retailers in Canada has a free shipping deal on (which is about as good as you're going to get up here) until end of Nov, so will be ordering by months-end.
