A Cook-Perkins focus checker. Unused in the box!

This is a machined aluminum tube (black crinkle finish and a tripod mount to the boot) with a removable ground glass in the back and LTM at the front. This is a small nifty device that is used for collimating LTM mount lenses. Yes, it has the same camera registry as a Leica screw mount camera.

Very few would have heard of it much less seen even a picture of it (will add a picture later). Rare is an understatement.

If no takers here, I will be sending this along with a bunch of my stuff to the Leica shop in Vienna. Perhaps, you will get to see it in their next auction.:)
