Hi, I am selling my original 2008 MacBook Air 13" with 2GB RAM and 64GB SSD. It's in good shape except for the right side hinge which is a little bent and wonky - the screen stays in the position you choose, but the hinge is clunky and bent. There are no dead pixels or broken keys or ports. There are minor marks on the surfaces, but nothing big. I had ZAGG shield on it from day one and I just removed it (it was yellowing). I would rate it overall about a 6 or 7 out of 10, but I am very picky. The hinge would cost $300 to fix, so I decided not to do it.

I just had Apple install a brand new battery (at a cost of $149) and otherwise it works very well. It would make a great coffee-shop web machine or writing notebook. Battery life is outstanding at nearly 5 hours.

I bought it new for more than $3000 when it was introduced, but I am selling it here AS IS with power adapter for $400 shipped ground in CONUS, paypal. That's cheaper than most iPads. I believe I have Snow Leopard running on it.

I will post some pictures soon.

Apple will usually fix broken hinges on the original Air as a free out of warranty repair. See here for (slightly vague) details.

Thanks. I took it to the Genius bar and they told me it would cost about $300 to fix. It has long been out of warranty.

Please note: other than the hinge, this MacBook Air functions perfectly, just like new with a new Apple battery.

Here are some photos.
