Selling my Nikon 300mm f/2.8 G VR II - this is the latest version of Nikon's legendary 300mm 2.8 lenses with the Nano Glass Coating. I'm selling this to help pay for the 600mm f4 I just bought and unfortunately can't keep both lenses.
The lens is in excellent condition with just a few scuff marks around the hood and a one bright mark on the tripod collar. It comes with the Kirk Enterprises Arca-style plate, a set of the lens coat (which was on the lens for most its life), the original Nikon foot and the Nikon carrying bag.
The lens auto focuses perfectly on my D4 & D800E bodies. I have tested it with LensAlign and Focal software and neither body needed any micro AF correction.
$4,950 shipped and PayPal'ed. I'm located in the Seattle area and I'd be willing to offer a local discount to local buyers. I'm quite firm on my price so please no low ball offers.
