On 60mm lens closest focus w/o tube is 23 inches
with 6mm tube is 13 inches and 1:4.5X enlargement ratio
On 120mm lens, closest focus w/o tube is 38 inches
with 6mm tube is now 28 inches and 1:11 ratio
If you need occasional close-up, this is very convenient, and quite compact.
