    Re: FS: Epson 7900

Guy's Epson 7900 would also make a great converted K7 B&W Piezography printer. Jon Cone will be releasing the new Piezography Pro system in December 2014 that will allow precise mixing/blending of different ink sets and split toning. See bottom portion of this month's Piezography newsletter on the Piezography Pro system: http://myemail.constantcontact.com/I...id=y30z-I71yfk

I can see it now: instead of lowering his asking price, Guy will be expanding the delivery zone. How far is it to Alaska?

    Good luck.

Actually I can have it in LA December 30th. We are driving a rental truck there with all our gear for my wife's show.

Seriously all I really want is this and maybe a extra 150 dollars.

    Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens SEL1635Z B&H

Epson comes with everything I have , paper and all. It needs one ink and maybe a maintenance tank. Runs great never a issue

Hmmm thats a long drive. Getting it to LA is easy, got a truck going there anyway. I could throw it in the GTI from there. Hmmm

    Re: FS: Epson 7900

Actually, now I'm thinking more seriously about it -- I could meet you in LA, hang out a bit go shoot, yadyada, then load the printer in my SUV and take it up to our Groveland classroom to use for printing workshops? Only issue is it would not get regularly exercised and I don't need two of them here. But then I do have the old MacPro sitting on the floor unused and it could drive the printer up there in our absence. Hmmm...

When/how soon do you need that lens?

So what's the plan----we all meet Guy in LA for lunch and help Jack load the 7900 into his SUV?

I can take it to a freight house and have it shipped but obviously that would be a cost to buyer. Given the price and low usage it may even be worth it. I don't know freight rates though.

    C'mon, Jack (or somebody).

This is a rare opportunity to get an official Guy Mancuso Signature Series Epson Printer!

This could be a cheap excuse for a GetDPI New Year's Eve Party in LA....

p.s. I added a link above describing the soon to be released Piezography Pro system, which this 7900 would be a good candidate for B&W conversion.

    Guy,

I'd like to buy it if you were closer. Any chance you might visit Buffalo? You can take in a NHL game and an NFL game (weather permitting).

Good luck with the sale, and all the best

I already told you, Don. Just put a nice cover over the printer, maybe a piece of plexi on top, and *presto* ---you've got a nice new night stand in the bedroom. Just remember to put it on Sandy's side of the bed....

This is a great printer---and a signature series Guy Mancuso edition to boot! It doesn't get better coming from a GetDPI family member and founding father.

This would be a great second printer. If converted to B&W piezography, you can also apply the gloss optimizer from the 7900 on color images you've printed on your other printer!
