WTB: Imacon, Creo, or Cezanne Scanner

Hopefully someone who has abandoned film completely has one of these scanners hanging around. Would also consider a Howtek 4500.

There's a Creo Iqsmart2 on Ebay now. Much easier to use than a drum scanner and way better quality than an Imacon. I once had a test scan done on an Iqsmart3 and it was absolutely as good as a Tango drum scan from WCI using the same 4x5 transparency.

Cheers Doug. I can get a new iQ2 for the ebay "Buy it Now" price from Jim at Midwest, which would be my preferred route were I to buy new. I've had Tango, Cezanne, and iQ3 scans done and agree the iQ3 is impressive in the right hands. IMHO, the Tango had the edge, but you have to really look hard. Imacons are good, but lack the Dmax of the other three, but still, if I could find a used one for a reasonable price, I would settle on its shortcomings.
