***SOLD*** Leica M2, late production 1966

So I bought a very nice Leica M2 about 6-weeks-ago and have been playing with it. Except for the small dent near the rewind knob it is in exceptionally nice condition and according to the seller (Blogger Tim Van Der Weirt of Leicaphilia | Philia (/) it had a recent CLA. The L seal is intact and the role of film I put through it was perfect, with no issues of focus or exposure (I tested all shutter speeds).

I am selling/trading only because I just didn't enjoy working without a built-in meter, and so will either take $675 shipped CONUS ($100 less than I paid for it) or trade for or toward either a Leica X2 or X (Typ 113) or for or towards a working M5 or M6.

As the pics show, this is an exceptionally nice user M2. The viewfinder is clean and the RF patch is bright and contrasty. RF focus is accurate with all of my lenses and matches my M5 (recent CLA by Sherry Krater) and M Monochrom (recent CLA by Leica). Vulcanite looks perfect to me as well. Other than that one dent (very minor) and some scratches on the metal, it is perfect as far as my eye can tell. No light leaks or pinholes in shutter that I can see.

This is a late 1966 production M2 with lever rewind and self-timer.

    50mm f/2 Summicron NOT INCLUDED.
