This is the second part of my massive sale featuring Visoflex housings and bellows (yes, more than one, including a non-Leica tilt-shift bellows). The adapters and other small items will be part 3 of this sale coming out in the next few days.

Please remember these are used equipment, so please expect signs of use, dust...etc.

Hi,
I'm interested in either item 12 or 13 mainly for the purposes of copying 35mm negs.
I don't know much about the mechanics of the Visolflex so I'm hoping you could educate me!
Do you think item 13, with the 90mm that's included, can be used to copy 35mm negs? From what I can deduce from your pictures I think the bellow at their minimum plus the depth of the Visoflex mirror box may have the maximum focus plane too close to focus on a negative at 1:1 or less.
If I were to purchase item 12 could I utilise my M 90mm Elmarit macro to copy negs?
Or, do you have anything in the remaining collection that can facilitate neg copying using Leica optics.

Thanks,
Grant

Yes, by adjusting the distance between the negative and the lens and with the bellows II extended you can focus to the size of a 35mm neg.

(If I were to purchase item 12 could I utilise my M 90mm Elmarit macro to copy negs?)
The adapter that come with this bellows will accept 33mm LTM lens only. If your lens is M mount you will need the 16596 adapter to attach it to the bellows.

(Or, do you have anything in the remaining collection that can facilitate neg copying using Leica optics.)
I have also successfully used the Elmar 65/3.5 (Part 1 lot 9) + 16464K focusing adapter (Part 3 lot 17 item 4) + 16472 or 16471 extension tubes (Part 3 Lot 17 item 7) on a Visoflex III housing for copying negatives and slides as well as other close-up work. The Elmar 65/3.5 can also be used with the bellows II instead of extension tubes.

Thanks for looking.

I have bellows and lenses, but sure would like to find a nice Viso III all by itself (odd that I have all the trimmings, but no goose).

Prices here are quite good -- I almost went for the Viso III + bellows even though I already have a bellows unit. ...But I hesitated. Someone got a nice deal.

This Visoflex lot, and the other 2 lots, are a real trove of neat stuff! Some great lenses in Part 1.

Interested perhaps. I've been casually on the lookout for a standard Viso III. I don't know anything about the Micro Viso III, other than I can see in the photos that there is a focusing screen drawer.

Can you use all the usual Viso III components on the Micro Viso III? In other words, the chimney finder? Is the Micro Viso III larger than the standard Viso (taller)? Does the Micro Viso III operate in the exact same way as standard Viso (the 3 mirror options)?

I ask here instead of a PM just in case others are wondering too.

As far as I am aware, the only difference between a micro Visoflex III and and regular Visoflex III is the removable focusing screen, everything else is the same: dimensions, operation, accessories, lens mount...etc. It is designed for those who wish to change to a different focusing screen quickly: plain, grid, circle...etc. for different applications, but I have been happy with the one screen I have.
