This is a two channel preamp. It has only XLR inputs; and it has phantom power, 12V and 48V. It is powered by a 9V battery.
The function of this device is to improve the audio quality in DSLR video. It is used thusly: Lower the gain on the camera to the minimum, and use the gain on the preamp to raise the audio level being recorded to the proper level.
