This is the classic knob quick release version. Excellent condition, used very lightly. No dings or mechanical issues. Very smooth and fluid. Probably the best head I have ever used but I need the cash. Sad to see it go.

Yeah, that's a different head. The manual version of the D4 isn't geared. It functions as a three way pan/tilt head. That's why it costs so much less.

If you go back to that same page that you have linked and select "geared", you'll see the price jump
