Profoto StickLight w/Spare Tube

For sale is a very nice and rare Profoto StickLight with two bulbs - one installed and a spare.

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/367358-REG/Profoto_100738_StickLight_Flash_Head.html

Both tubes great, protective glass pristine, the cable nice (not tangled mess) and the plug good. Unit works like a charm, just some cosmetic scuffs on plastic 'handle'. The unit (excl. cord) is 13" long and the tube itself is just over 8" long.

The StickLight works on any Profoto Acute, Pro or Prob B pack - just flick the selector switch on the flash head from 'Acute' to 'Pro'. We use(d) on the Profoto ProB3. It is not fan cooled.

Will handle up to 2400 Ws and can be put in some very, very small spaces. All sorts of creative uses. Has a 3/8" socket in the body for mounting and comes with a brass stud accordingly.

You can get very creative with this sucker as is, or by McGyvering various flags/barn doors, etc., to make the tube a very very small slit of light, to mount in a softbox, light a balloon, stick under a car dash, etc. The limit is your imagination. It is MUCH easier to 'play with' than a standard Profoto dome.

Now sadly discontinued with no replacement (why Profoto ?), the unit when new was US$2400. Spare tubes were/are app. 1/2 that again and hard to find now.

No box, but all will be packed with utmost care.

Price is US$1500 payable in CDN$ equivalent and includes shipping by Canada Post Normal Post in N.A. Offshore pays actual based on Canada Post online estimate. Payment by EMT in Canada or PP (add 3%).
