Vintage Canon F/0.95 bayonet mount lens for a Canon 35MM Rangefinder Camera. In Excellent Original gently used working condition. Glass is clean with no scratches. Focus and aperature ring are still smooth and precise. Body is in great condition for its age. SERIAL #27920. Comes with a Nikon L39 72MM Lens Filter.

Lens Cap has 2 small dent scratches in the soft metal as seen the photos, but no damage to the lens. Looks to have been dented while off the lens

Currently with DAG (Don Goldberg the guru) for the last 7 weeks for the M-mount conversion. The waiting list for this conversion is long. 2-3 months.

So if you intend to do this m-mount conversion with DAG, he already has it and your wait time is nearly over.

If buyer prefers the lens not converted by DAG, then buyer pays shipping. I will request DAG to ship it back without the conversion.

No payment is required or made until we have spoken to DAG about the transfer of ownership.

I have ask him to do the Viso III mount conversion he did here. Conversion 0.95

This is what I requested DAG to do:

Added VISO lll Flange system-------$325.00
Added 6-bit coding--------------------$ 65.00
Cleaned, lubed, & adjusted---------$135.00

You can of course change the the type of conversion since he has posession of the lens, but has not worked on it yet. As regular m-mount conversion vs the VISO III is much cheaper if you prefer.

Payment of conversion has not been paid and will be made by the new owner when the conversion is completed.

I'm only selling this and a couple other of my leica lenses to purchase a Noctilux.

$1350 paypal echeck

I will accept trade for Noctilux + Cash on my end.

Yes, I'm leaning towards keeping it. It's pretty close to being converted so I may go ahead and keep it.

How is your focus wide-open? Is it sharp?

It ' very difficult to get focused pictures at 0.95 , but I managed to get some :

And when you don't get it , you have this dreamly softfocus effect wich I like very much...a matter of taste !

I have difficulties to focus beyond 2m, so I serviced the lens and the rangefinder together ; now it's ok, it's a pleasure...

When you get everytime razor sharps pictures with Cron or Lux lenses, these softfocus pictures are a good break !

And I am not talkingof the light, F0.95 allow photo with really low light levels. For more consistant results, you can use it at F1.4...but...it 's no more wide open.

Thanks steflaurent974 for sharing your photos. Those samples shows a nice classic look.

Below are some samples from a Viso III m-mount conversion that DAG has done shot with an M8;which really got me interested in the conversion. I showed the link to DAG and he responded saying, "That's why I'm getting all these request for the conversion". He told me he's so busy with work, that there is now a 3 month wait.
