I got my first CF cards in 1998, 24MB Lexar, I think they were around $100 each. The camera, Canon A5, came with an 8MB card - A bit small.

Hahaha, 860 bucks! That's murder. I am still happily using 4gb cards, even in my 22mp back...personally I would rather have multiple small cards, rather than one huge card -- things are safer and more redundant that way. Of course, the speed is nice and it is important that the card is big enough to prevent constant changes...

i love my head lol but i just cant see at all and no matter how nice or id want it..just cant brake down to spend600-800 on one...thats just me
