Die gibt's noch?

AOC triggers a flash back. While the built quality would not knock you off your socks, the panels were astonishingly acceptable.

Back in the 90s, I decided to build my own rig and ended up with a rather powerful computer, a whopping 2 GB Ram, and a Matrox grafic card that served my three 18 inch AOC LCD's. I was more into composing music than photography, but the addication to screen real estate stayed with me.

Great stuff!

Nice one! Since it does not have HDMI 2.0 it generate images with 60 Hz via HDMI right?

You are german right? Can you approve the stuff written here? AOC U2868PQU Test

I do not think that the page is reliable.

Since the monitor is still arround 500 € - I wanted to be sure if I buy it. :)

Now I added MINIX 8H - an AndroidBox for €135. It's playing ALL 4K videos (all formats) from youtube, GH4, Note3 .. full okay! NO H265/HEVC

Now you get OpenHour Chameleon for such price ... WITH H265/HEVC

PS: for €600 you also get a 42" tv with 4K, IPS, HDMI2, H265/HEVC = nice 4K monitor
