LR3 Running Slowly

My LR3 seems to be running more slowly with use. The last few days I have been see more "spinning beach balls" with even simple operations. Running on 2nd gen Mac Pro quad core with 20 gig Ram. CS5 and Phocus run fine and speed appears to be unchanged. Other people seeing this??

Hi Steve,
Did you try optimizing your catalog?
In LR3 you will find that option under the file menu.
