Before and after images, creating an artistic rendering with character, dynamics

I'll start this off with a simple photo of a window. I can't profess to say I saw this image as the end result from the start, but I have to say, as it developed in my growing experience with SEFII, I was more than pleased with the final outcome. Maybe some others will want to share a before and after, even field questions here?

I feel like I added mystery, drama to this shot, and made a somewhat boring window shot believable as an artistic representation. I showed the end result in the Leica M thread, but not the before image. It under went quite a transformation I think.

I tried to look past what I saw in the photo, to what I envisioned the image could be. Thankfully, Silver Efex II makes that possible with a little knowledge and some time.
