    New Capture One 4.1.2

Phase One Releases Capture One 4.1.2 - Extends Lens Correction Support
    Attachments to this press release:
Focus+ and Lens+ technologies support pro photographers who demand the best image results
Copenhagen, August 13, 2008 - Phase One today released an update to Capture One 4, the RAW workflow software designed to deliver superior image quality. This release offers to Phase One digital back owners with Hasselblad H, Hasselblad V and Contax mounts the benefits of Lens+ and Focus+ lens correction support.

Lens+ and Focus+ technologies enhance image quality by removing lens artifacts, correcting color aberration and purple fringing and improving image sharpness and resolution.

"Sometimes nature doesn't give you a choice, so it's good that Phase One does," said fine art landscape photographer Tim Wolcott (http://www.galleryoftheamericanlandscape.com). "Purple fringing occurs most often in high-contrast scenes. These lens correction tools let you get the shot you want and can save hours of post-production."

In keeping with Phase One's commitment to open digital systems solutions, supported lenses now include the following:

    Carl Zeiss (Contax) 140mm f2.8
    Carl Zeiss (Contax) 35mm
    Carl Zeiss (Contax) 45mm
    Carl Zeiss (Contax) 55mm
    Carl Zeiss (Contax) 80mm f2-f4

    Carl Zeiss (Hasselblad FE) 110mm
    Carl Zeiss (Hasselblad) 120mm
    Carl Zeiss (Hasselblad) 40mm
    Carl Zeiss (Hasselblad) 50mm
    Carl Zeiss (Hasselblad) 60mm
    Carl Zeiss (Hasselblad) 80mm

    Hasselblad HC 100mm
    Hasselblad HC 120mm
    Hasselblad HC 150mmN
    Hasselblad HC 35mm
    Hasselblad HC 50-110mm at 110mm
    Hasselblad HC 50-110mm at 50mm

    Re: New Capture One 4.1.2

    Hey Guy

question for you or Lance or Jack (or anyone in the know). From your post, the HC Hasselblad lenses are supported for corrections as well. However I tried to open the Hassy 3FR files in the latest version of C1 4 and they won't open. So I am doing something wrong or the HC support is coming in a later version. Any insights into this?

    Hi Woody:

The Hassy lenses are supported, but the files need to be in a RAW format that C1 can read, like from a Phase back; The H-back proprietary RAW is NOT readable by C1...
