I have to change my main hard drive on my Mac Pro Early 2008,
so will we go with an ssd 120 Go for the system and softwares...
i have two others drives for time machine and files.

Browsing the web for the SSD, i've find out that in fact the ATI Radeon HD 5770 Mac Edition is compatible with my mac pro...

For now i have an ATI Radeon HD 2600 that was change last year, VRAM 256Mo
I have two screen connected on it a Lacie 320 and an Eizo CG19 for tools.

is it worth upgrading for the 5770 (Vram : 1 GB ) ?
will it makes a difference using capture one pro for instance ?

I just did this upgrade the other day (early 2008 Mac Pro 3.1, ATI 2600 to 5770) and I have to say I do think it makes a difference. Everything seems just that much zippier (in LR at least). I don't have an SSD for my main drive (that's next) so I don't have that upgrade to compare. But I would get the graphics card - it's a relatively cheap upgrade. Just keep in mind any adaptors you might need if running two DVI only monitors (5770 has only one DVI-D port).
