Sandisk Restore software - or other recommendation?

I have used sandisk's restore software occasionally but it is way outdated.
New version is $30 (no big deal) but are there better software options for flash card recovery?

recently had a flashcard blow and was able to recover pics but not video (from Canon 5dmkII)

    thanks

Canīt say Iīve ever made any comparative study, and donīt have to use it often either, but I much prefer the look and feel of CardRaider to the Sandisk Restore. At USD 19.95 itīs cheaper, too.

I've been using PhotoRescue from DataRescue: home of PhotoRescue, data recovery solution for flash memory cards for many years. You can try it out and if it recovers you images, you can then purchase it. But I don't recall ever using it for video. No idea about video.
