I'm running OS X 10.7.4 and want to replace my 30" Apple Display - which is now ~5 years old. I like having 1600 pixels in the vertical, so that means a new 30" display and most of the 30" displays sold today are wide gamut.
A couple years ago I remember reading that the wide gamut monitors were fine for editing in Photoshop, but for normal web browsing and computer use, there were problems because the GUI was created for sRGB (and not color tagged) and colors did not look correct in a wide gamut space.
Have these limitations been resolved?
