if you're on Mac OS X and using Aperture, then this should be of interest to you. Aperture version 2 is available.
this is a worthwhile FYI if you've been waiting for RAW file support for your Ricoh digital cameras. it's now supported in Aperture version 2.
Aperture's raw file support may perhaps be independent of the OS. what this means is that aperture is no longer at the mercy of the OS for raw file support. so, future cameras should be quite quickly supported by Aperture without having to wait for an OS update which does not happen frequently enough to keep up with new cameras.
