Not sure about 'pleasurable'. But it makes the use of the camera in bright sunlight easier and I do find it useful for critical focussing when stacking for macro's for example. I have one loupe and attach it to my '2' and '3' with three rubber bands - it goes on and off easily and is pretty much the same size as the LCD, it does not cover any buttons.
