Fun with MF images 2022

Have not had much opportunity in DC to get out an take pictures, but I was able to get out and take a few images last night. This was from Jefferson Memorial.

Multnomah Falls is the most-visited site in Oregon, USA. Although I have been to the Portland area many times, this was the first time that I visited the falls in the Columbia Gorge.

I had intended to shoot the Washington Monument with my Fujifilm GF 23mm, but it failed. I got a message that says "Turn off the Camera and Turn on Again", from what little research I have been able to do, it seems this may be an indication of focus motor failure. Anyway, I pulled back and shot it with my 35-70mm.

Couldn’t you use the lens in MF mode ?

Good thought Bart, but unfortunately it does it even in MF.

There are two road water outlet pipes into the water at Manly Beach in Sydney - and they are a shame on the authorities responsible for not firstly making them invisible and secondly taking them much further out as has been done in numerous beaches in Sydney - decades ago.
