Food is always in our mind for Singaporeans. And of course, near dinner time, the numerous hawker centres around the city comes alive with activity. Unlike in 2020 and 2021, the scene is now bustling and vibrant. Though wearing of masks is no longer necessary except for within the public transport system and healthcare facilities, many still opt to wear one in public spaces. Here a hawker selling grilled chicken wings does a brisk business.

Hauling a special train run in association with the Sydney Harbour Bridge's 90th anniversary year, NSW 38 class pacific no. 3801 powers onto the bridge from the south. The historic warehouses of Sydney blend with the 21st century city. Note the Anzac Bridge in the far distance and the Observatory dwarfed by Crown Casino.

This is shot from the bridge's southeast pylon - a structure that isn't usually open to the public at this time of day. I have a contact you was kindly able to get me up there early in the morning.

And now, here she is running north through Waverton station on the city's north shore...

For a "Cow Town" Denver, Colorado I think has some photogenic areas (quite a few, actually). Early this morning as the sun was making its appearance through the building, near the Denver Art Museum but looking at the Denver Public Library. Cambo WRS 1600 / IQ4 150 / Rodie 40mm HR.P0001445 1.jpg

As close-as-you-can-get view of the firebox of a pottery kiln. Mostly bowls inside (temp in the kiln about 2200F); bowls are sold to raise money for food kitchens for those in need. 50R,
32-64mm, 1/4000s. I shot a number of these, the flame patterns are fascinasting

How are you liking the new toy, my friend?
Glad I don't have 3.7 kilo's (Z +28-45) to lug around anymore! I miss the great Pentax interface and the build in horizontal and vertical levels.
Now I am traveling light especially with the 35-70. A great advantage at 74! The files are fantastic. And the fact that i can adapt a whole range of vintage lenses. With the EV it is a breeze.
Sold the Z and the 28-45 and my Pentax K-1 and some lenses. so it is the Canon 5DSr and the 100s for the time being.
Waiting for the 20-35. I am happy so far.
