Schneider-Kreuznach APO-DIGITAR 43mm XL need for center filter?

Don't get me wrong, the 43XL is a wonderful lens. Most of the time, sensor tiling is not noticeable at all. It is only apparent when it is in the sky, smooth walls, or other solid color/non textured part of an image. For some reason, unbeknownst to me, it takes more extreme shifts for sensor...

Schneider-Kreuznach APO-DIGITAR 43mm XL need for center filter?

Based on my experience with the cfvii and the iq4150, sensor tiling will start to appear at about 10mm of camera fall when in horizontal position. It becomes more noticeable as you shift further. The sensor tiling shows up with or without the center filter.

Schneider-Kreuznach APO-DIGITAR 43mm XL need for center filter?

Hey Peter, You'll likely run into sensor tiling with the 43XL and shifts. There is a way to fix it though… https://www.getdpi.com/forum/index.php?threads/how-to-fix-sensor-tiling-with-photoshop.72693/

    Schneider-Kreuznach Tele-Digitar 170mm F/2.8

The same could be said about many lenses in a Cambo mount. Even though I'm unable to access the full image circle of the 120asph, and 180t with the WRS1600 I'm very happy with the combo.

    Schneider-Kreuznach Tele-Digitar 170mm F/2.8

Recently, I ran an IC test with the IQ4150 and 180T mounted on a Cambo short barrel lens panel. The camera I used is the WRS1600 which has 20mm vertical and 20mm horizontal shift in both directions. The f/stop is set to f/11, focused to infinity, and an LCC card is mounted to the front of the...

    Pentax 645 28-45 Image Circle

While this lens is definitely a beast, coming in at 3.24 lbs, it does offer an interesting range of focal lengths for architectural photography. The 28-45 focal length does a nice job of filling the gap between the 24mm and 50mm tilt shift lenses. The image circle isn't quite large enough to...

    Fuji/Fujica GSW cameras -- question

What a fun project Rob. I looked through the high res film scans at the end of the article and the quality is excellent. Looking forward to seeing how it works on the 50r!

Phase One glass and Fuji GFX

I don't know if a P series back works on the Phase One DF. I only used it to set the aperture of the 35 BR.

The Phase One DF works with the Blue Ring lenses, not sure if the Mamiya DF is different though.

Phase One glass and Fuji GFX

The details of the Kipon adapter state "The 0.7x optic adapter gets rid of crop factor…" So it changes a 100mm to 70mm, not sure what the benefit of that is… To me it seems like it would be better to use an adapter that doesn't have a focal lingth reducer in it like this one...

WTB: Schneider Kreuznach 120 f/5.6 APO Digitar ASPH

WTB: Schneider Kreuznach 120 f/5.6 APO Digitar ASPH

The brochure also states that the aperture is set manually. With the Mamiya to GFX adapter this could be a very fun lens. It could also be used with a Mamiya to WRS adapter. Has anybody tried it? I'm wondering if the Kipon adapter would interfere with the image circle. It's also a big one, over...

WTB: Schneider Kreuznach 120 f/5.6 APO Digitar ASPH

I believe it is optically the same as the SCHNEIDER DIGITAR 28mm, but not the 28XL. Completely different lens.
