    Sleep is overrated!

I'm a little more awake and see that I forgot a couple things. Pick up a leveling base as it will make life easier. You'll want a power brick to help the S50 along. We forgot to plug ours in last night and went down in 20% after shooting over 5-hrs You might also want to consider a dust...

    Sleep is overrated!

Okay, price first. Amazon offers the S50 for $25 more than what we paid for it at our local Astronomy Store (Starizona in Tucson) so I suggest checking locally first. Or accidentally hit the BIN button. It's better to pray for forgiveness than ask for permission. You get 2-files. The RAW is...

Walkway beside a store on the main street of Lincoln New Mexico. While not the original walkway it could still be the same path that Billy the Kid took. Leica M11, Tri-Elmar 16-21 f/16 1/125 ISO 400 @16mm. Processing is a mix of Capture One, Photoshop and Topaz Studios.

Went through Lincoln New Mexico (home of Billy The Kid) on our way to Caddo Lake. This was the first opportunity to test a new to me Tri-Elmar 16-21. Shot at f/4 1/125 ISO 64 21mm Don

Sorry for not visiting or posting sooner however I've been busy getting my strength back (20-weeks since last Chemo treatment). We recently took a trip that was planned for this time last year before all hell broke loose. Caddo Lake State Park, Texas. My primary camera now is the Leica M11...

    Coming back to Leica

Go to post #32 - posted a link to a toolcut kit that has severed very well with both Leica and Voigtlander. I also used it to replace a battery in my Dell laptop! Well with the money don

Interesting that Leica uses philipshead while VM uses flathead.

    Coming back to Leica

I decide to send my Tri-Elmar 28-35-50 in to have it coded. I began the conversation with Leica on April 9, getting confirmation of receipt on April 19. I received information that the lens was being sent to the factory on April 22. I also received an estimate for the work requested around this...

    Coming back to Leica

I keep forgetting to mention this. I have a Lowa 15mm and Mitakon Speedmaster 90mm both of which have the slots milled into the flanges for 6-bit coding.

    Coming back to Leica

I will not lie, yesterday was brutal however today is much much better. It might be that I now have 8-lenses for my M11 with 4 of them Leica. Went down the rabbit hole this morning and ordered a new 75mm Summicron from the Leica store in SFO (they had one new in stock). It's funny when you...

    Coming back to Leica

Buffalo seems like a lifetime ago! Not to be overly graphic, I went in the hospital mid Nov for a blockage and a couple days later they removed the colon in my right side (I kept my appendix). I remember the first time I turned on the right side and felt stuff move into the void! :). Was told...
