Just a sample screen grab image showing before and after treatment of a pinhole image in Topaz AI Super Focus function. Does introduce some artifacts, but also greatly improves sharpness and detail resolution. Very useful for blurry pinhole images.

    World Pinhole Day

I decided to give this a try. Started with the little ONDU Pocket 6x6 and later purchased the multiformat 6x12. Image below is from the ONDU 6x6 using Ilford Delta 100 (5 years outdated) that I had hiding out with my old Rolleiflex. Processed in the AGO rotary drum with Cinestill monobath...

More Fun with Large Format Film Images!

Re-visiting some old 4x5 images shot on Polaroid Type 55 PN. Scans from the lovely, thin negatives. Thinking of going back one last time to shooting some B&W film (120) with just an old Mamiya 6 and also a pinhole. Should be an interesting adventure. Haven't decided yet on film and process...

    Sigma DP2 Merrill shots

I dusted off the old lady (my DP2M) , charged up the battery, and brought her back to life. Kitchen fruit bowl shot in ambient window light. Processed t raw through SIgmaPro 6.8 and then did some basic exposure adjustment and used Adobe Enhance to enlarge to 59 MP. Not bad for a 15 year old...

It is even more impressive when your original file is from a foveon sensor (eg. Sigma DP2 Merrill) that can produce spectacular detail.

    Fun with the Lumix S9

Just picked up this little FF camera as a backup for the larger S1RII. No bells and whistles but it has all that I need. A few example images shot with the S9 and 20-60 in HHHR mode to yield 96 MP raw files. Uploaded here at 50% of full size. Also as of today's ACR and LR updates we can now...

Panasonic Lumix S1RII - new future for FF

Couple of HHHR shots using the Lumix S1RII and 28-200 from a walk around the ponds at the Cornell Arboretum. Note the schooling goldfish in second image and following closer view of one of the goldfish schools. The goldfish will probably start spawning once the pond water warms up close to 70...
