    I got mine 2 days ago but I just got back from a trip so I have only taken some test shots so far. But my initial reaction is I like the size and form of the lens and that it balances well on the X2D. Hopefully I will have the time soon to take it out for some real photography.

    Hasselblad's aversion to red dots

    When the red marking is at 12 o’clock the focal length print on the front of the lens is at 6 o’clock so I often use that instead (if I have removed the front cap first 😀). But adding your own marking sounds like an excellent idea 👍

    if you look at the linked Kickstarter page (post #28) you will see that the project was cancelled. It looks like they received only a fraction of the funding they needed.

    Is this the original Monochrom? If so you should have a menu option to reset the folder numbers which should help. It might also help to format your card in the computer with this software in case it got messed up somehow.

    S2 is not compressed I assume so the S-007 doesn't looks so light compared to the 41 Mb from the Sony

    Zeiss ZF.2 135/2

    I have the lens and think it is fantastic in rendering and resolution. Even when shooting some very high contrast scenes I have not seen any CA although I haven't shot into the sun. If the lens would produce some CA in certain situations I would still keep it, it has so much else going for it.
