Is the GF 35-70mm parfocal? Is the 45-100mm as well?

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated! Ha Ha, I knew I would miss the proper terminology.. ;) With regards to focusing, yes this seems to work from tele to wide as well.. Anybody use the 45-100mm for panoramas?

Is the GF 35-70mm parfocal? Is the 45-100mm as well?

Hoping somebody can add some input on this one... :) Apologies for the (very possible) misuse of terms here.. First of all, shout to Nick at Nodal Ninja, his customer service has been amazing! I have just started playing around with a Nodal Ninja Multi-Row Pano setup and noticed when...

Magic Four Series: The versatile SK 60 XL – laudatio on one of the best MFD lenses ever made

Amazing, thanks so much Rob! I knew you would come to the rescue... :) I guess ultimately I would still just need to put the combo together and see how it performs.. Thanks again..

Magic Four Series: The versatile SK 60 XL – laudatio on one of the best MFD lenses ever made

Thanks Rob, that is extremely helpful!! Much appreciated! So am specifically talking about the Schneider 60mm with its large 120mm image circle. With a 2 x portrait stitch, it could become a 45mm.. Any idea how this would fare on the Universalis? I could forgo the Rotafoot if it helped...

Magic Four Series: The versatile SK 60 XL – laudatio on one of the best MFD lenses ever made

Thanks, cannot quite do the maths on this. At this stage, am looking to use the 33mm x 44mm GFX 100S sensor. If doing a 2 x portrait stitch on the rear to create a 1 x landscape image (4:3), how much "sharp" front rise is available? Also, will this work with a GFX 100S on a Universalis and...

Magic Four Series: The versatile SK 60 XL – laudatio on one of the best MFD lenses ever made

Just wondering how much front rise can be achieved, when you are doing a 2 x vertical stitch on the back? Thanks! :)

Alpa e-finder app - any user feedback?

Thanks so much Dave, much appreciated! Yes, this is the approach I am going for... :) Am using a multi-row panorama head that has "click stops", so is repeatable as possible I guess.. I think the trick is to go wider than your estimated "Viewfinder" view and crop later.. Thanks again! :)

Previewing stitched images in location. Options?

Hi Matt, Thanks so much for the amazingly in-depth response! :) Yes, this is sorta what I thought but was not sure. Might have to do a visual estimate then, set the "Viewfinder App" slightly longer than my stitch will be and then crop later. Thanks again, much appreciated!

Alpa e-finder app - any user feedback?

Am just wondering where i get the figures from for setting up a virtual sensor if it is a stitched image using a multi-row panoramic head? I understand a bit more if using the image circle of a lens and using the rear of a tech cam to do a stitch but am unsure this way. I am doing a 9 x stitch...

Previewing stitched images in location. Options?

Hmmm, just realised that I think the wide angle is working on my Iphone. I just saw that it said "wide angle required" and assumed it would not work. Duh.. :) With regards to figuring out a "virtual sensor size", can I just use the pixels in my final "image size" in Photoshop? Am a bit...

Previewing stitched images in location. Options?

Thanks Dave, I am just revisiting this but something seems a bit off so far. When you say to "figure out what your stitched sensor size will be", where am I getting that information from? Sorry, feel a bit silly for asking but cannot quite see that one.. I did have another query, I have an...

Looking for a Panoramic setup that has "click stops" on both vertical and horizontal axis? Does one exist?

Thanks, much appreciated! That "pin registration plate" sounds sorta annoying... Not that I have more than one camera.. But still.. ;) I am not sure if my head is stable enough for my camera setup unfortunately.. I have a Fuji GFX 100S and the horizontal rail is pushed all the way to the...

Looking for a Panoramic setup that has "click stops" on both vertical and horizontal axis? Does one exist?

Thanks for the response, much appreciated! I have a Sunway 3015A and it is ok. Similar in operation, except that it uses 5 degree increments. I have found that I use 10 degree increments all the time, hence the interest in the Novoflex. With the Sunway, I have to click down 2 x 5...

Looking for a Panoramic setup that has "click stops" on both vertical and horizontal axis? Does one exist?

Does anybody know what the process is for using the 10 degree click stops on the vertical axis? Very hard to find information on this product.. Anybody out there own one or has previously used one? :)

    Panorama Software? Affinity vs PTGui?

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated! If I understand your technique above, then this will not work unfortunately.. The images I provided are just test images on a stationary subject. Ultimately, I would like to try this as portraits. I am using a Panoramic head with click stops. It is...

    Panorama Software? Affinity vs PTGui?

Hi, Thanks for the reply, much appreciated! Yes, I think you are correct, manual control of reference points seems to be a must. I did post this on the PTGui forum as well and Joost got back to me with reply and the following result. https://groups.google.com/g/ptgui/c/6-HapAyBMtc That...

    Panorama Software? Affinity vs PTGui?

Am really hoping somebody here can help me with some issues I am having with ALL the Panoramic stitching apps. I am looking to do some Brenizer (Bokehrama) portraits as well as more traditional landscape and architecture. Am just wondering if I am missing something in the process or it is just...

Ha Ha!! Sorted it... Just had to put the L-Bracket on the other way around... :)
