    Hasselblad XCD 20mm-35mm f/3.2-4.5 E Lens

If I compare the MTF graphs of the Hasselblad zoom lens XCD 3.2-4.5 / 20-35E and the Hasselblad prime XCD 2,5 / 25V (no "E") it seems to me that the prime lens has better optical performance and is cheaper.

    Soon 10'000 members!

If I may evaluate your esteemed expert opinions in this and other threads for myself, I have the impression that the further development of Phase One's photography business is at least doubtful. However, I understand the justified enthusiasm of Phase One users who are hoping for another...

    IQ5 rumors

It would have been good for all photographers if DJI or Accel or a third private equity investor had bought Phase One and Hasselblad and merged them. P1 and Hasselblad partly serve different markets and have different strengths. I think it would have been a good solution for customers in...

    IQ5 rumors

The question for me is whether Phase One or Hasselblad will remain as a supplier for the photography sector in the future. Surprisingly, Hasselblad is constantly bringing new products to the market, while Phase One seems content with its industrial market. Even an amateur will be reluctant to...

    IQ5 rumors

If you describe the poor situation of, for example, fashion photographers and other professional photographers due to the increasing competition from AI, one could come up with the idea that Phase One could sell significantly fewer IQ4 or IQ5 in future. That would leave only the untalented...

    IQ5 rumors

What do you think: Will Phase One possibly present a new XT camera with more shift (18-20mm) before a new IQ5 with 275 MP is released? Could a new camera with the P1 shift lenses shift in portrait mode? This would be a new design of the XT. The current XT can only swing in portrait mode...

Phase One Group ApS 2023 Annual Report

Dear TechTalk, I have a simple question, please: What do you think about the future of Phase One camping with Hasselblad? Are both companies in a good financial situation in terms of reliability for costumers in the future ?

Please advise the esteemed forum members which technical camera system I should invest in for landscape photography

Hello Dave, Thank you very much for your detailed explanations. I completely agree with your recommendations regarding the use of short barrel lenses and the +-5° tilt-swing adapter. Also the use of additional adapters for mounting behind the camera to maximise the shift possibilities and thus...

Please advise the esteemed forum members which technical camera system I should invest in for landscape photography

I'm still not sure which technical camera system I should buy. It's not easy for me. In my opinion, the IQ4 150 is currently the best back. I don't think a possible IQ5 will get a new sensor. Otherwise Sony would report on its roadmap in good time. It may be that Phase One wants to sell a new...

X shutter alternatives in the future?

Thanks for your comments Steve. I had for myself summarised the posts I red before. I have no experiences with technical cameras. The problem is that if you buy a X-shutter Rodenstock lens there is only the solution with the Phase One back, which is very expensive. The Hasselblad CFV-100c is...

X shutter alternatives in the future?

Can it be summarised as follows for someone interested in technical cameras? 1. There are Rodenstock lenses with X-shutter, but they only work with Phase One backs. 2. Phase one backs have nice features such as frame averaging, but have poor batteries, LCD displays and rarely receive software...

Please advise the esteemed forum members which technical camera system I should invest in for landscape photography

I am an old Hasselblad amateur photographer and have the medium format cameras H6D-100c and X2D-100c. I went to a wonderful photography workshop in Northern Norway with two photographers I really appreciate, Joe Cornish from the UK and Trym Ivar Bergsmo from Norway. This workshop sparked my...

    The king is dead...

H-System customers need not worry about the service of H-cameras and H-lenses in the future. Mr. Ulf Kühn, a very long time Hasselblad technician at the Hasselblad tradecenter in Ahrensburg near Hamburg in Germany repairs H and V equipment. He is also officially authorized by Hasselblad Sweden...

Please help convince me to keep my IQ4150...or not

I don't have Phase One equipment, but I like to answer this way: I will always keep my Hasselblad H6D-100c because of the image quality with the color reproduction I appreciate and will never sell it. I think the heavier cameras are best for deliberate photography as you use them on a tripod. I...
