    You're a lot better man than I (probably for more than just this reason!). I fell in love with the Rollei 6008i, but returned it because it was just too heavy to consider carrying around. But, wow, is that ever a great camera.

    That's a really powerful image: the contrasts of a tree that's lost its leaves (dying??), the endless, unfathonable sea, and a couple in an embrace, not of passion but of comfort.

    Is Hasselblad still really a premium brand?

    I think Blad V's have appreciated nearly in lockstep with other MF film cameras/systems. It's flexibility as a film system--and, as you say, because of the CFV--makes it maybe more highly valued than other premium brands, so that it's just marginally more expensive than (say) Mamiya 7ii, Plaubel...

    Medium Format Pets

    When I first saw the title of the thread, I thought "medium format" described the type of pets photographed. If so, cats and dogs definitely fit.

    I think (I'm terrible at this) that the SWC 38mm has a FF equivalent of 21mm, while the X 21mm has a FF equivalent of 17mm. Or did I get this one wrong, too?

    I believe in tripods, too: I keep 2 plus a monopod in the trunk of my car. But then again, I shoot > 95% film. I consider a digital camera just the first line of picture making (true, of course, for film cameras as well, but to a lesser degree) and post-processing is the other half. I suspect...
