    More Fun with Large Format Film Images!

    Of course, really simple set up: Broncolor Pulso Spot 4 with projector lens top left (gives the nice bright / poppy light with even better shadows). 6ftx6ft scrim above the entire set with 2 strip boxes and 1 reflector (3 lights total) shooting through for nice highlights and fill.

    Decided to dust off my old Sinar 4x5 and play in the studio. Feels nice to dial things back a bit. Shot @ F32 using my Rodenstock Sironar S 210mm, with some heavy front and some rear standard tilts for perspective.

    Walked down the pier this evening to run a lens test. Caught the sunset and the smoke from the Malibu fires on the horizon. Arca Swiss Pico - Arca 50mm Lens - Phase One IQ4 150 - Cropped to panorama format.

    You need to set the flange distance to the optimal distance from the sensor. Getting critical focus @ 3m is what arca calculated for it to be the best results. Once calibrated one can focus normally using the lens and not the rail.

    IC starts to peep in @ around 5-6mm on the IQ4 sensor. I honestly wouldn't use this lens for any professional architecture work on the IQ4. Maybe just to do personal stuff / landscapes. Like mentioned above, I think one should stick with a 35mm sensor using this lens. Sharpness fall pretty fast...
