    Nightime composition on X2D

Is this also possible with the CFV100c 907x? My workaround so far was to find a star and focus manually to see it as a point. It’s not easy and requires also taking a capture to verify thay I didn’t miss.

Critical focusing - CFV 100c on tech cam.

For my eyes, the chimney finder magnification is too low for critical focus on the 500c/m. I use a prism and the magnifier instead: https://www.jogeier.com/de/hasselblad-view-magnifier-42459-2110000915834?srsltid=AfmBOorhfWgt7lqguZgAyJoFG0KvxQuPWJjKlds2as3iXA57MN7Q-5Ll 100mp are quite demanding...

charging Copal 0 on Schneider 35 XL

Also try the lever that opens the copal for focussing. Sometimes the lever moves a little, that blocks the release.

Welcome back, Dan! Nice to see you around. I followed your loss back then, quite a nightmare. Nice that you now got yourself the CFV100c. It’s a good back with a few quirks.

Cambo WRS 1600 vs X2D II for Landscapes

Agree with the statement on the haptics and feel. Add me to the list of happy Cambo users: it is a very versatile, precise tool, from a company with excellent customer service. Not only for current products, but also for a decades-old Cambo Wide, which gives a preview about the longevity of...

Cambo WRS 1600 vs X2D II for Landscapes

If a pancake-style camera fits your needs, most likely both manufacturers offer suitable solutions. You just by yourself need to know which movements you‘d like to get to select the right model. If you can, try it out.
