    Seems to be same with IQ3's, trading at $7-$8K at least the last two years. Assume digital backs follow the classical depreciation curve, at one point the curve starts to flatten to eventually plateau.

    Yes, it would be. What really gets me is that the same person just started another auction for a IQ4-150 with a short time period "Tuesday, 04:03 AM". Maybe he tries to get away once more before getting into trouble as to the first auction?

    Unless there is a very good deal, I will wait. Both P1 and HB are expected to release new digital backs in 2026. Even if a new P1 digital back will be again very (or: too) expensive, I think there will be enough trade-ins or sales of used IQ4 to bring the IQ4 down to a more appropriate price...

    Hard to attach a $$$ value to the inspection and warranty, but your two sales suggest that the market value IQ3 now hovers around/below $8K.
