Great images and seems you are having fun with this combo! What do you think? Did you also bring other gear?

X2D II holding up so far in the Japanese winter

Very nice images. I recently used my x2dii during 3 hikes in snow and -10 C - battery and camera did pretty well. I was out there about 4-5 hours. Had a spare battery in my pocket but didnt even need it. I sent the camera asleep when not using it though.

Expirience with the Hasselblad XCD 135 + 1.7TC?

It took me 2 years until I decided to just go for it. 90 has been to short as a longest lens for me. But I have not yet much experience with it. IMO the combo with the tc is quite flexible, and there isn't any other long option so far. It's like a portrait and a mid tele lens in one. The first...

Is Hasselblad still really a premium brand?

I dont get it…for me price or premium is not the point. For me iq and user interface and usability are the things that are important. I dont know if Iwill upgrade from x2d to vers.ii but I am sure both cams deliver in the three aspects I mentioned.

    Handheld or Tripod

I dont know but besides another framing, the handhold also looks "different", was it the same light and processing? Which lens was this (the bokeh looks a little busy to me)

    [WTB] Mamiya ZD Camera

I know its not Mamya but also offers a very good reflex finder - might you be interested in a Leica S006?

Why Upgrade to the X2D II?

Good question. I asked myself the same thing. The x2dii wont be a r3 or sony a1 or z9 anyways. personally a shorter blackout would make it more usable for portrait and people photography.

Hasselblad look and color with Leica SL3?

For now I wont get out of the sl system, even though I plan to use the hassy more often than before. I might exchange the sl3 for a sl3-s though To gain a little more speed over the sl3.

Hasselblad look and color with Leica SL3?

Hasselblad look and color with Leica SL3?

dont you guys feel electronic shuter very limiting for M lenses on x2d(II)? Except some special noctilux look I would prefer xcd lenses all day long, same for sl lenses prefered on sl bodies, with maybe some exceptions.

Hasselblad look and color with Leica SL3?

Hi there. Now the x2d gets even faster and the sl3 still slower as ff co,petition (I use a r3 canon for sports) I also have second thoughts about keeping the SL system. Its great and iq as well, but the hassy kicks even slightly more ( most of the times) and as you say wb and color just dont...

Hoping to get some guidance on a Hasselblad X2D Mark II kit please

The 55 I also once had and liked a lot, quite in the middle of 38 and 75, so if the gap between 25 and 55 is fine for you, 25,55, 90 could be a good plan. for me 38 allows more environmental portraits and scenes, so at the moent I prefer 38 over 55. you can also just take the camera and just the...

Hoping to get some guidance on a Hasselblad X2D Mark II kit please

Hi there, over the years I have owned most xcd lenses, but after selling the whole system…regretting and buying back in I have mostly of the newer lenses. Now (2035,38,75,90) and 45 +135. the plan was not to buy so many lenses And stay with 2035+75, but became weak. My experience is limited...

Anybody hear who can tell us how much closer the x2dii gets to the speed and everyday usability of a leica sl3(besides the tele range)?

Hasselblad look and color with Leica SL3?

I feared this would be the answer…

Hasselblad look and color with Leica SL3?

As an owner of both systems but not the greatest post processing knowledge (mainly use lightroom nowadays, also habe c1) I reall ylike the SL system, but each time I look at a Hassy x2d file it looks sooo good in regards of color and overall natural look that I just love it. Looks allmost better...

Upgrading to the Hasselblad X2D Mark II

I also dont think one would choose between X2d and sl3 based on price. I own both. I prefer the sensor of the x2d, but the sl3 feels more responsive and fast (thats why I also asked about blackout), plus you habe the option for long lenses. but the x2d gaining c-af, and specially the lenses...
