2023...what can we expect from Nikon?

My 85 1.2s is shipping out today. Going to play around with it and figure out if I want to keep it or not....thinking I may want something smaller, like a Fuji X cam and 56 1.2, but we'll see.

I did not want to believe it when NikonRumors posted, ahead of the Z8 announcement, that there might not be a Z6/Z7 III announcement in 2023.

I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I am ready for a new 30-36mp sensor that can replace both my Z6 and D810, and I'll probably not upgrade until then...

As for lenses, my next one may not be a Nikkor, but will be a Z-mount prime

One rumour is that monochrome will be an option on the mode dial. Could be interesting!
