A6000 pdaf supported??

I don't really understand what does Sony mean with the A6000's new firmware update when they say "pdaf supported"...it was always supported. Or do they mean it's now supported like the A7II update that works with other lenses via electronic adapters?

Can anyone with an A6000 update and confirm?

"I've spoken to Sony, who have confirmed PDAF is just for the new Master G lenses; they intend to clarify the website. At this stage there is no indication that adapted lenses will support PDAF on older E-mount cameras like the A7 & A6000. :-( "
